A.M. After the breakfast pick up
from the hotel and begin the visit
through Lima City. You will Know the

of Lima visiting The Huaca Pucllana,

IMPORTANT ATTRACTIONS OF LIMA:
Cathedral of Lima:
In 1535, the Spanish founder of
Lima, Francisco Pizarro, decides to
build the Church of the City of
Kings for which laid the first stone
for its construction. The interior
is stark but impressive, with a
beautifully carved choir and a small
religious museum in the rear of the
cathedral. Look for the coffin and
remains of Francisco Pizarro in the
mosaic-covered chapel just to the
right of the main door.
Convento de Santo Domingo:
The construction for the first
church and cloisters of the
Dominican Order was completed in
1578. The Altar de Los Santos
Peruanos a magnificent neo-classical
Altar to The Peruvian Saints is
decorated in turquoise and gold. The
church boasts one of the most
beautiful panelled ceilings in Lima.
Iglesia de San Francisco:
Built in 1674, the attractive yellow
church is considered the best
example of the "Lima Baroque" style
of architecture. The handsome carved
portal would later influence those
on other churches, including the
Iglesia de la Merced. Catacombs

Huaca Pucllana:
Belonging to Lima culture between
the 200 – 700 years A.D. The Huaca
Pucllana was a ceremonial,
administrative and principal center
of the Lima Culture. Since this
place was organized the society and
managing the production.
